Night had fallen upon Moscow and instead of being sleep Aleksandria found herself walking to Oskar’s wing of their massive estate they shared. She made no noise as she walked to his room. Her heart was heavy but her mind was made up. Tonight her brother would meet his death by her hands. Aleksandria was willing to kill her brother so she would have the power she so heavily sought. Oskar was standing in her way and it was time she removed him permanently.
“He has to go Aleksandria, he despises you. Oskar looks at you like you’re the weak link in the chain. Murder him and get it over with, rid yourself of him once and for all,” Aleksandria crazily said to herself. The voices inside of her head were going mad. She knew there was a thin line between sanity and insanity and she knew she was about to cross it. Aleksandria made it to Oskar’s room and she leaned her head against the door. The teardrops fell from her eyes and landed on her slippers as she cried softly.
“Forgive me brother,” Aleksandria said to herself as she twisted the doorknob and walked quietly into Oskar’s room. She silently snuck up to his bed and saw him sleeping peacefully underneath the covers. Aleksandria saw her reflection as she pulled the sharp metal blade from out of her robe’s pocket. She leaned over Oskar and gave him a single kiss on the cheek before slicing his neck from ear to ear. Oskar’s eyes shot open as the blood spilled from his mouth. He struggled as he wrapped his hands around his neck to stop the bleeding. It was no use; Oskar was choking to death on his blood. He took his final breaths at 1:45 a.m. that morning.
“It’s all over brother, rest in peace,” Aleksandria said as she closed her brother’s eyes. She leaned over him and wept. What did I do? Aleksandria thought as she looked down at her hands that were covered in Oskar’s blood. She couldn’t believe that she had let anger make her do unbelievable things.
Aleksandria quickly retreated from Oskar’s room and made her way back to her wing of the house. She entered her room before slamming the door behind her. Aleksandria quickly placed the murder weapon in her sock drawer before making her way to her bathroom. She figured she would have time to properly get rid of the weapon later. Turning the faucet on, she let the warm water rinse her hands as the blood washed off. Aleksandria turned her attention to the mirror as she stared at her reflection. Instantly, the voices in her head began speaking to her.
“You have to make it seem realistic, make it appear like you didn’t do this. The police shouldn’t find any holes in your story,” Aleksandria said to herself as she prepared herself for what she was about to do. She reached inside of her drawer and pulled a white sock. She put a couple of dove soap bars into the sock before hitting herself multiple times.
